Thomas Brightwell Construction is linked to the following companies offering a ‘one stop’ building service. Engineering Architecture Ltd. is a practice of Architects and Structural Engineers based on the borders of Hampshire, West Sussex and Surrey. Our work area covers the South Downs National Park and the towns and villages that surround the park too. The practice is run by Richard Thomas, a Chartered Structural Engineer and David Brightwell, a Chartered Architect. Working together on all aspects of the design produces results that exceed client expectations and proves to be an enjoyable way of working. Since our start in 2008 the practice has continued to flourish. Engineering Architecture offers an advantage over other practices as all of the design is carried out by both Architect and Engineer together. This results in proposals with improved buildability and structural advantages from the offset. This approach also leads to reduced cost and greater time certainty in the early stages of a project. We are able to offer any level of service from a few hours consultancy to a full set of working drawings.  

Niche Structure is a Structural Engineering practice based near Haslemere in Surrey and close to the Hampshire and West Sussex borders.

The practice is run by Richard Thomas who is a Chartered Structural Engineer and member of the prestigious Institution of Structural Engineers. In London, during the 90’s, Richard worked on many prestigious buildings including Admiralty Arch and the homes of Gary Lineker and Elton John’s ex-manager, John Reid! His work in London included the recent trend for designing new basements under existing houses and one project in this sector included an underground and partly below water, squash court.

Richard has broad experience across a range of building types, including major refurbishment and historic listed buildings.
