TBC is the building arm of local Architecture and Structural Engineering Practice: Engineering Architecture Ltd. The brain child of the two directors, Richard Thomas and David Brightwell, who believe that who better to be in control of the building phase of the project than the designers who have worked on the building, often for a year or two already.

TBC when they start on site have a thorough understanding of the existing building, and just as importantly, – the client! Often we will have also designed both the Architecture and the Structural solutions. This knowledge makes for a greater opportunity to make cost savings in the methods of construction and key to everything; to get the most out of the design.

As we have already got to know the client they will feel at ease, getting involved with any discussion points as the building work progresses. We are best placed to know any particular areas that are of importance to the client and make the process work better to deliver.

TBC maintain both public liability insurance and contract works insurance as a main contractor and are members of the Federation of Master Builders.
